    Hello Cameron,

    What was the overall purpose of using i-TASSER? What did the results yield?

      I believe the purpose of using i-TASSER is to showcase predicted models of proteins and their functions. (if a protein structure is not known i-TASSER can assist by predicting what the protein structure might be) The results were a predicted structure and function of the given protein.

March 4th (Week 6)

This week I finished all of the animations for each direction and then implemented them in unity using a blend tree and used the previous movement code which now work super well and moves my character around animating in each direction. The blend tree isn't perfect I have a bug where the character will always face to the right when he is done moving, but I think the fix is changing some of the values in the movement code when the player is facing the other direction. The animations also don't always play for the forward and down movement which I assume is a similar situation to the player not facing the last known direction. The movement looks and feels really great and makes the game feel pretty polished for not being finished yet. The character can still shoot projectiles horizontally in one direction. February 3rd (Week 1)

This semester I am going to try and finish a few games and practice on other aspects of programming and modeling. This first project I am working on is a 2-D game and I am going for a pixel art style so it should be easier to animate and create items for the game. This first week I watched a tutorial got a nice pixel editor and started creating a tiles to use for the game. I created tiles that are repeatable without showing too much of a pattern. This helps make levels easier because I am able to reuse textures and make maps without putting in too much effort. I also created dungeon walls which are also repeatable. I then opened unity and started creating a tilemap which is a built in unity function which allows me to place down the new tiles I created on a grid and snaps them into place allowing for a quick map editor. I am just creating a small level to test mechanics and get the core gameplay functions working. I hope to create a few levels and have a dungeon crawler rogue lite game...
