December 7 (week 10)

I have not posted for a bit, but have been working on the game and will add 2 more blogs and the game within the next week. For this blog I am showing the menu system I implemented and for now the current background image is just a placeholder with a yellow background. The cool part is I am actually happy with how the menu system has been working so far it works well and the buttons actually have functionality. The game starts at the main menu and when start is clicked it brings the game into the first level which is the base game where I have 2 enemies spawn and the main level loaded in. The only other settings I need to adjust is so the volume scroll will actually lower the volume. This addition of a menu finally makes the game feel a little more finalized. The main menu will also be duplicated and pause the game during the actually level. There will also be a reset button and exit to main menu which will make the menu system a bit more convenient during actual game play.
